What did Robinson Crusoe name the island?

As readers, we
never find out the real name of the islandis shipwrecked on. He calls it "The Island of
Despair," saying,

I, poor miserable Robinson Crusoe,
being shipwrecked during a dreadful storm in the offing, came on shore on this dismal,
